Happy 4th of July!!!

I ran the Independence Day Classic 10k in Santa Clarita this morning. Always a nice little local race. I signed up last minute so I didn't get a tech-shirt. The 10k was at 7am, the 5k @8am and then there is a parade. It was already SO hot by the time I was done with my 10k. Thank goodness this time I parked where I could leave whenever I wanted to. Last year I was trapped until after the parade! I wore some of my red white and blue flair left over from when I went to go see the US v. BEL world cup game the other day! I'm doing another 100 miles challenge this month, but not a run streak. I wasn't able to keep it going once I got home from Seattle :/ I finished June at 134.11 miles. Let's see if I can get to 150 in July... hey, it could happen! I'm still just aiming for month over month improvement. Now to get some rest before fireworks! Have fun and be safe!
